Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have significant experience with packaging in a GMP environment and have a hands on approach to mechanical problems. Right first time attitude and the drive for continuous improvement is a must. Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and mathematics.

Main Responsibilities

As a Packaging Shift Technician, you will be packaging solid dose pharmaceutical products using modern blister and cartoner machines and associated end of line equipment, while maintaining GMP and quality requirements in accordance with our standard operation procedures. You should be self motivated to achieve our performance, quality and efficiency KPIs in line with the department’s targets.

Working on a rotating shift pattern that compromises of a 3 week rotation and you will work a combination of day shifts – 7am – 7.15pm and then night shifts - 7pm – 7.15am.

  • Week 1 – 2 rest days and then 3 day shifts
  • Week 2 – 3 night shifts and then 2 rest days
  • Week 3 – 2 day shifts, 1 rest day and then 2 night shifts 


This role will be one year fixed term contract.
