Teva currently have an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to manage the smooth running of the operation of the Castleford Logistics Centre. As Warehouse Manager you will provide leadership and direction to all team leaders, operators and support staff working on-site, ensuring the highest standard of operation.

Together with the Distribution Centre we have almost 200 employees in Castleford, near Leeds in West Yorkshire. We estimate that, every second of every day 350 tablets and capsules are taken by patients in the UK, so if you join us you’ll be working for the biggest supplier of medicines to the NHS.

Skills & Experience

To be considered for this role you should hold a higher level of education e.g. degree, NVQ etc. or equivalent industry experience, plus IOSH qualification. You should have a proven track record of delivering specific objectives against time restraints, whilst managing a busy warehouse / operation. Experience with warehouse management systems, Health and Safety will be essential to the role as will working according to strict SOP’s

Main Responsibilities

Main responsibilities

  • To ensure that all orders (inbound and outbound) have been correctly prepared for, ensuring accuracy of the Warehouse management System (WMS) and Warehouse Control System (WCS) at all times
  • Responsible for the development, review and maintenance of the company’s health & safety infrastructure, documentation and procedures within Ridings Point
  • To provide leadership and direction to manage, motivate and develop the team leaders and operators working within the warehouse, ensuring the highest standard of Operation at all times
  • Support the Customer Solutions team in leading customer facing initiatives and projects to enhance the level of service provided
  • Coordinate the Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers ensuring that all delivery services are provided to the contracted SLA’s.
  • To be point of contact for all internal customers on any distribution centre system related issues.
  • Manage all disciplinary and grievance issues in accordance with organisational policy.
  • Drive achievements of all KPI’s
